Monday Check-In

It’s SOUP TIME.

Happy Monday! Let’s see how our weekend spending compared to our estimates.

Last Friday, I estimated that I would spend $120 on groceries, $7 on laundry, and $54 on clothes.

I ended up spending $101.34 on food-based groceries and $42.81 on cleaning and hygiene-based groceries, and that’s because it took me two separate grocery trips to carry everything I needed back to my apartment.

I also spent $7 on laundry, as predicted.

I ended up letting my Ann Taylor Loft coupons expire, though. I wasn’t in the mood to go to the mall, and I wasn’t that interested in any of the stuff they had online. I am sure that the next time I want to buy something from Loft (or any other clothing store) they’ll be having a different sale or coupon opportunity, so it’s not like I actually missed out on any “savings.”

Total spending: $151.15.

How about you?
