Monday Check In!

It’s Monday! Which means time to check in about how much we spent this weekend.
Before seeing Peter Matthew Bauer, from the Walkmen, on his living room tour on Friday ($20), I bought a few slices of pizza for dinner ($8.50). I also ended up drinking a little bit more than I anticipated ($12.49 for a six pack). And after the show we were politely asked to leave so the crowd reconvened at a bar down the street ($10 more on drinks). Alright — off to an inaccurate start!
On Saturday we went to the Brooklyn Museum as planned and saw a great exhibit called “Who Shot Sports” ($10). After spending the day in Prospect Park, I cooked dinner that night but did end up going to the movie theater to see Finding Dory ($14 ticket plus $4.50 for popcorn). I’d definitely recommend it by the way; it’s an emotional roller-coaster. The woman next to me was hysterical. On Sunday I managed to go without spending any money!
Total spending: $79.49
$19.49 more than expected. How about you?
