$28.22, Michaels: Two glass bottles for my kombucha and some blue Rit dye. I’m attempting to makeover an old vintage dress that has seen better days. I’ve never dyed clothes before: any advice? Should I chronicle it? Silly question, of course I should.

The Cost of Making Your Own Kombucha

$24.50, Bulk Barn: Been wanting to check out this place for a while. Turns out pistachios are abysmally expensive in all forms. Also grabbed a huge glass jar for the kombucha, which fits the kombucha aesthetic far better than the plastic tupperware I had been using.

$48.90, Metro Grocery: Most expensive line item? $6.99 EVOO. Other purchases include black kale ($2.99), Greek yogurt ($3.49), and three bananas ($0.79).
