Friday Estimate

Happy Friday! It’s time to estimate how much we’re going to spend this weekend.

I need to go grocery shopping again. More tofu, more fruits and vegetables, Wheat Thins and bread… and cupcake mix, canned frosting, food coloring, and candy shaped like gold stars. (I may have to order that last one on Amazon.)

I’d like to pretend the grocery shopping will cost less than $75, but I know better. Also, ten points to any Billfolder who can guess what kind of TV-show-themed cupcakes I’ll be making in the near future.

I did my laundry during the week, so I’m all caught up on that. I am attending a party at Hugo House this weekend, which might mean that I take a bus there and take an Uber or Lyft back, depending on what happens. (It’s one of those “open bar but you get a free drink ticket” things, and I am lucky in that one drink is generally all I need.)

I’ll estimate $100 for the whole weekend, to include groceries and a potential Lyft/Uber.
