Monday Check-In

Good morning, Monday humans!
Were you overwhelmed by an impenetrable cloud of cloying self-satisfaction upon opening this post? That’s me, having completed my taxes. By some miracle I’m choosing not to question, I got a refund, so I actually made money this weekend, and no, you will not tell me that’s not how it actually works, leave me alone, also please though before you go let me know whether you think the new money I just made should go towards these shoes. Y/N?
Sadly, my Saturday night plans were cancelled, but happily that meant I only bled out on Friday night, spending $46 on food and drink. Afterwards, we went to a bar owned by a friend of mine, so our drinks were free. We left $15 as a tip ($5 each) — is that an appropriate amount for three free drinks? Bar owners? Other than that: $52 on groceries and $8 on fancy tea.
My estimate was the very accurate ALL THE MONIES, and in fact I came in at $98 (not counting all the money I made, duh), so let’s call it a win.
Please share! (And weigh in on the shoes.)
