Do 1 Thing Before You Go
It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.
Today is less about “doing the terrible task I’ve been putting off” and more about “doing all the things I need to do before I fly to Juneau, Alaska for Alaska Robotics’ Mini-Con and Artist Camp.”
Mini-Con is a one-day Juneau convention with featured guests including Ryan North, Kate Beaton, Raina Telgemeier, and more.
Artist Camp is a two-day artist camp. In the Alaskan woods. Talking about art and money and career planning and all kinds of stuff. So yeah, I’m pretty excited about that.
Here are all of the non-work-related things I need to do tomorrow:
- Mail my dad a birthday card and mail my CPA the money I owe him for doing my taxes.
- Do a load of laundry.
- Pack for Mini-Con and Artist Camp.
- Take out the trash and the recycling.
That’s not that bad, really! These are all totally achievable things and I am very sure I will get them all done. Do 4 things!
