Mondays! Let’s check in on our weekends.

And man, did I have a weekend! I was hoping to spend a quiet weekend at home after flying around the city and the country for the past three weeks, but forces conspired against me. And by that I mean an hour after I gotten home from the grocery store ($63.47) on Saturday afternoon, a neighbor began banging on my door to let me know that the basement of our building was on fire. I’ll write more about this later, but: thankfully, no one got hurt, and we got our heat and hot water shut off. Thank you FDNY. On Sunday morning I washed my face with cold water and then decided I might as well go get my hair washed and cut ($60). My estimate was $100 and I spent 123.47.
