Friday Estimate

Happy Friday! I’m doing the Friday estimate today, so let’s start predicting how much money we’re going to spend this weekend.

I’m at Nerdcon: Stories this weekend, and I look forward to telling you all about the panel titled “The ‘So How Do You Make Your Money’ Panel.” (I plan on taking a lot of notes.)

How much will I spend this weekend? A lot. More than I want, but much of it will be tax-deductible, so it evens out. I’d guess $50 per day on food/drinks (for three days), $260 on the hotel room — I’m sharing with a friend, and we’ll tally up at the end of the convention — $25 to check my bag back to Seattle, and then a $150 grocery shopping trip Sunday afternoon when I get back in to town.

So… $575.
