Do 1 Thing Every Day That Scares You

It’s Thursday, which means it’s time to Do 1 Thing.

I have way too many 1 Things on my list today, but one of my 1 Things is to create a plan for renegotiating freelance rates with my current clients. (Appropriate, for Halloween week and Doing Things That Are Scary.)

The plan is essentially: list all clients, write down everything I know about their payment structures, quantify my contributions over the past year, determine a Starting Negotiation Number, and then schedule dates at which I will initiate the negotiation.
