Tuesday Check-in

Good morning! It’s our Monday Check-in on a Tuesday! Let’s get to it.

It was a weekend full of good food: I met a friend for dinner at Uncle Boons, a Thai restaurant in NoLIta, where we shared plates of mee krob and betel leaf wraps, and bowls of khao soi and boneless beef ribs with curry (highly recommended, would go back — $74.51). The next day I met up with friends I haven’t seen in a while and had Turkish food at Bustan and shared hummus with lamb kebabs, flatbread pizza, and a crab popover ($43.80). I also ended up seeing the new X-Men movie ($5.50 for 3D with a discount pass, and $5 for a small soda), and $57.51 at the grocery store. My estimate for the long weekend was $200 and I spent $186.32.
