Monday Check-in

Good morning! Time to check in.

It was a pretty great weekend after a stormy Friday. I attended the Story Pirates benefit ($50), met a friend visiting from out of town for lunch ($23) and did a grocery store run ($58.55). One thing I learned this weekend from my friend: Don’t cook with hot water from the sink because lead leaches more easily into hot water than cold water (the EPA agrees with him). I can’t be the only one who wasn’t aware of this. In any case, I estimated $125 and ended up spending $131.55.
