Is It Worth $5 to Return This Bread, What About $4 for These Headphones With a Microphone in Them

1. At the store the other day I bought the $5 bread because of grains and dietary fiber and health. I made a sandwich with it the next day and the bread was stale. Immediate thought: I should return this. Immediate next thought: I don’t want to return this. Immediate next thought: I don’t have to return this. I can do what I want. And then I stopped thinking about it.
Except I keep thinking about it. I SHOULD return the bread, but I DON’T WANT TO return the bread.
2. Yesterday I bought some headphones with a microphone in them at Walgreen’s because I lost my headphones with a microphone in them and my iPhone is broken in a way that I can only talk on the phone if I use headphones with a microphone in them. I picked the pair that was on sale for $5.99. I also bought two easter egg shaped Reese’s peanut butter cups because they are the best tasting Reese’s peanut butter cups after the christmas tree shaped Reese’s peanut butter cups and they are available for a limited time and also some root touch up hair dye stuff because I have some gray in my bangs that is making me feel bad about myself.
I paid for my things and as I was leaving I thought, wow 2 Reese’s cups and some hair dye and some headphones with a microphone in them ADD UP. And then I looked at my receipt and they didn’t give the sale price on the headphones with the microphone in them, but charged me $9.99. I considered going back but never actually stopped walking or even really considered it because the immediate truth is that it was not worth $4 for me to go back in there. I spent the rest of the walk home thinking about that and the bread and thinking about the $10 that could be mine for doing those two errands, but how I didn’t want to do those two errands, at all.
The headphones didn’t work so I have to return them anyway. One errand for $10 seems okay.I wonder how long it will take me to do that. Also I just threw away the bread so I don’t have to think about it anymore.
