Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

Today, by the way, is one of those days where it feels like the weight of the world and/or the fate of the nation is on our shoulders, even though I keep telling myself that this whole Kavanaugh thing is well outside my locus of control and there is literally nothing I can do except continue to do the best work I can with what I have and then curl up with the new seasons of Murphy Brown and The Good Place.

This weekend, however, is the open call audition for Revival Theatre Company’s 2019 season (9 to 5, Chaplin, and Oklahoma!). I will be singing, dancing, monologuing, and playing guitar — ’cause they’re looking for people who can do that — and although I might have ridden my bike up to the auditions, it’s supposed to storm so I’ll probably take a Lyft.

Total estimate: $25.
