Question Wednesday

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to reboot our financial questions.
You can already guess where my question is headed: how many of y’all powercycled your routers and changed your passwords and updated your firmware after the FBI warned us that “foreign cyber actors have compromised hundreds of thousands of home and office routers and other networked devices worldwide?”
I’ll admit that I saw a few “FBI SAYS REBOOT YOUR ROUTERS” stories yesterday, but part of me was like “ummm… I’m going to hold off until I see something from a reputable source.”
Well. Turns out it’s legit, and also the FBI uses internet slang:
#ICYMI: #FBI recommends any owner of small office & home office routers reboot the devices to temporarily disrupt the malware of infected devices https://t.co/VOSz0fBYaF pic.twitter.com/uEpWTy1ElG

I have unplugged and replugged, because that was the easy part, and I’ll look into changing my password later this afternoon.
