Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

On Saturday, I’m signing copies of The Biographies of Ordinary People: Volume 1 at Cedar Rapids’ Next Page Books for Independent Bookstore Day. Biographies has been selected as the first title in Next Page Books’ brand-new book club, and even though I don’t plan to spend any money on either the book club or the signing I am mentioning this anyway because I’m honored/proud/pleased/excited/delighted.

On Sunday, I’ll be doing my first session in the float tank, which should cost around $60 when you include discounts and the tip. (Do you tip on a float tank? It’s not a one-on-one activity like a massage or a haircut, but someone still has to clean up after you.)

Total estimate: $60.
