Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in with our weekend spending.

This weekend, I spent $96.29 at Best Buy to get my router so I could FINALLY HAVE INTERNET, and $159.09 and $129.78 at Bed Bath & Beyond and Walmart, respectively. (My mom also bought me some BB&B items—thanks, Mom!)

At this point I have all of the necessary stuff—trash cans, toilet brushes, etc.—to start my new life in my new apartment, though I’m probably still going to buy a few more items, like a Christmas tree, just for fun.

On the subject of Christmas, I also spent $32 to see The Nutcracker as performed by Orchestra Iowa and Ballet Quad Cities. After skipping Seattle’s Nutcracker every year because tickets were too expensive, I was so glad to be able to see this one.

Total spending: $417.16.
