Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in with our weekend spending.

This weekend, I spent $2.79 on a bag of ice to fill the cooler that my friends and I took to Whidbey Island for Thanksgiving. While on Whidbey Island, I spent $54.20 treating myself and my friends to lunch (they did all the driving and arranged for the Airbnb, so it was only fair).

I also spent $7.05 on the ferry from Whidbey back to Seattle (my friends paid for the ferry ride over).

Back in Seattle, I spent $284.50 to ship ten boxes to Cedar Rapids, $4.85 on a Sip & Ship cookie, and $153 on Lyfts and Dollys to get my boxes to either the Sip & Ship or the Goodwill (more on that later today).

Total spending: $506.39, which was pretty much what I estimated I’d spend this weekend.
