Monday Check-In

It’s Monday, which means it’s time to check in with our weekend spending.
Last week, I estimated that I would spend $60 on groceries/household goods, and I spent $56.93. (I also saved $10.19 thanks to my Safeway app.)
I estimated that I would pay $5,000 towards third-quarter estimated taxes, and I paid $5,000. (We’ll have to wait until next year to see if I estimated the right amount.)
I told myself that I would not take Lyft rides to and from Readerfest, and I did in fact take the bus, even on the way back when a bus route change turned what should have been an hour-long ride into a 90-minute ride. (I listened to so many podcasts.)
Total spending: $5,056.93.
How about you?
