What will you spend (or not)?

Oh boy, it’s Friday and that means it’s the weekend, stretching ahead of me with nothing to do except possibly spend money. Help!

The weather says we’re going to get snow on Friday, so something tells me I won’t do a lot Friday night. I have no food in the house right now and should really go grocery shopping, but on Friday I’ll probably order take-out ($18 if I’m being honest). For the rest of the weekend, I have no real plans. I’ll probably get a beer or three with my friend ($24). If I have to go to the city to do so, I have to buy a MetroCard ($40 or maybe even $50 who knows!!).

I’m going to make an appointment with the optometrist and on my way home, there’s a very good chance I will buy some new boots ($130, I really shouldn’t buy these.) There’s a great chance that I won’t! And then Sunday, I have to buy food to feed myself for the week ($50 or so); I will also feed myself on Saturday somehow ($30).

That brings me to $292 if I get the boots and $162 if I don’t.
