Billfold Call for Pitches: Summer Stories

Have you been thinking about writing for us? The Billfold is planning on doing a summer series and we’d like to hear your ideas! We want to hear about the best or worst summer job you’ve had, how you budget, pack, and plan for summer vacations, or the cost of your favorite summer concert or event. Maybe you have a job that doesn’t give you paid time off or simply don’t have the funds to do any major travel—we’ve been in your shoes too and want to hear about how you cope with all of that! Or maybe you want to tell us about an unforgettable family trip from your childhood, or believe that “staycations” don’t actually help you recharge. Or maybe you have some other fun idea we haven’t considered here.
