Monday Check-In

Happy Monday! Boy is it hot out there. Let’s check in.

On Friday, I headed over to my friend’s place to take care of her very old cat while she had surgery, and picked up a sandwich for dinner ($6.85). In the morning, I had breakfast at a cafe in the neighborhood ($18.37), and then picked up some groceries for dinner ($17.31). My friend ended up having to stay an extra night at the hospital to recover, so I had to skip the birthday brunch I had planned to attend on Sunday so I could be there for her when she returned; I got an iced coffee ($3.48) and spent most of the day working (I leave for Italy the day after tomorrow, so I was wrapping up a bunch of things). My estimate was $100 and I spent $46.01, which is helpful since I’m not really giving myself a hard spending limit on my vacation.
