Tuesday Check-in

On Friday evening, I spent $26.96 at Whole Foods for some groceries to tide me over for the weekend, and then woke up early on Saturday to meet two of my friends at a coffee shop where I spent $8 on a cappuccino and ham & cheese croissant before heading to the U.S. Open with them. We had a wonderfully good time sitting in a stadium for five hours straight watching unknown Aleksandra Krunic beat a no. 3 ranked player, and then a match with Andy Murray. We quickly spent $30 on hats and water to shade ourselves from the sun, and then $15 for Parm sandwiches and $8 for Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, which we enjoyed before watching a doubles match and heading home. On Sunday, I finished housesitting, and headed to Peking Duck House where I split a multi-course Peking duck dinner with four other friends while drinking wine and recovering from my sunburns ($60). Monday was spent dropping off a rent check, picking up some groceries ($22), and catching up some work. My estimate was $200 and I spent $169.96.
And how were your weekends?
