Monday Check-in

Good morning! Let’s check in.

I went under budget this weekend thanks to friends and colleagues who treated and paid for various get-togethers and meals. A colleague flew into the city to visit and treated me for lunch, and then some coworkers covered my drinks after work. My Albanian friend Andi flew in to visit, and we had drinks and dinner covered by some of our closest friends. We also visited some friends who had just returned after spending a few days at the hospital with their sick baby (who is now fine). I spent $34.59 on some errands and split a cab on my way home Saturday night ($10). My estimate was $150, and I spent $44.59.
