Adrift

Brad Vest’s “Adrift,” a photo series he did for his master’s project at Ohio University follows a man named Travis as he comes home from prison. The photos are beautiful. In an interview in the Times’s Lens blog, Vest says rather than be a “fly on the wall,” he got to know Travis very well, which created a comfort level that made him being around to take photos less intrusive.
