Two Webcomics About Different Kinds of Magic

At The Nib, Andrew Greenstone has a graphic novella-sized webcomic about the economics of Magic the Gathering and the annual Pro Tour. As someone who loved the mechanics of MTG but realized that becoming a serious player would involve throwing down a lot of cash, I found this piece super-interesting.

At The Cut, Carla Schaffer has a short comic about why she loves nooks — you know, those cozy, out-of-the-way spaces that are perfect for curling up and reading. This piece doesn’t have anything to do with money (well, there is a little real estate involved) but I loved it because I also love nooks, and I frequently have the dream where you find a secret room in your apartment that’s filled with pillows and books. (I’m not the only person with this dream, right?)
