It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time to give us your financial questions.

Today’s question comes from Billfold co-founder Mike Dang: what are some good non-monetary gifts to give in the workplace? In other words: if you don’t want to give cash or gift cards, what do you give instead?

Also, I know I’ve told this story before, but I still remember how embarrassed I felt after running into my supervisor’s office to thank her for what I thought was a box of decorative soaps (“I love soap!”) only to have her tell me “they’re candles.” If you plan to do some non-monetary holiday gifting at the workplace this year, make sure your gifts are clearly labeled!
