Friday Estimate

It’s Friday, which means it’s time to estimate our weekend spending.

This weekend, I’m going to the Mission Creek literary and performance festival in Iowa City. I already paid $23 to take the bus there and back (I thought about renting a car, now that I’ve passed my adult driving lessons, but the bus is cheaper and I don’t have to deal with parking, gas, etc.) and while I’m at the festival I might end up buying a book or something, because that’s how these festivals work — or I might not. I’ve done a lot of spending this week and have a lot of spending left to spend, so I might be the person who writes down the titles she likes and then requests them at the library.

I also might start booking summer travel this weekend, depending on how many logistical details get finalized.

Total estimate: $0–$700.
