Monday Check-In
How’d you do?

Happy Monday or something like it. I thought I had a weekend planned out that involved spending controlled amounts of money that I felt okay about but when I realized that the boots I wanted cost $170 instead of the $130 I assumed they were, everything kind of went downhill from there.
I bought the boots ($180 with tax). I bought some flowers ($25). I ate pizza for dinner($8). It snowed an awful lot on Saturday and I was out all day in said snow, so I spent about $45 on Ubers. I ate brunch with a friend ($20), forgot that I made plans to go bowling with my sisters and then followed through on those plans ($68). On Sunday, I woke up with the understanding that I had spent too much money the night before, so I went grocery shopping for the week, did some work and watched the Golden Globes.($47).
I spent $394 this weekend, which is only $100 over my original estimate. Im fine! Had it not been for the bowling, I would’ve been okay.
