Monday Check-In!

I spent nothing this snowy weekend, which could be awesome, except really all I did was outsource my spending to the member of my family who still fits in all his winter wear. Here’s what he spent on our behalf:

• $16.50 — hardware store (house stuff)
• $80.50 — Target
• $16.50 — sled! for our toddler from our local pharmacy
• $11 — extra groceries, mostly ingredients we’d forgotten for our two recipes
• $23 — gifts for friends who were very kind to us last week when my entire little family got sick and desperately needed help

I naively estimated $75 and spent $147.50. Best purchase by far: the sled. Apparently Babygirl was drunk and cackling with joy for straight two hours.
