Monday Check-in

Good morning! What a beautiful weekend it was! Let’s check in.

This was originally going to be a low-key weekend starting with a movie rental in with pizza ($9), but the weather was too perfect to not go out and enjoy it. I had been planning to go see the Under the Skin, the new sci-fi movie starring Scarlett Johansson, but my friends convinced me to have brunch instead. We sat outside and I had a burger and some mimosas ($30, including tip). Afterward, we walked over to get frozen custard at Shake Shack ($3.50), which we ate in the park, and then hung out in front of a dog run to look at puppies. I realize now that I forgot to put down an actual estimate, but I ended up spending $42.50, which was much lower than I was expecting to anyway!
