Monday Check-in

There’s a heat advisory today, and I should have gotten an iced coffee instead of a hot coffee this morning. And, good morning! Let’s check-in.

It was a relatively low-spending weekend: I met some friends for lunch ($25.25 — when is it lunch and not brunch during the weekend?); I bought a paperback copy of a book to read to prepare myself for an interview ($6.97); I made a trip to the grocery store ($36.76). I had estimated $100 and ended up spending $68.98.
