“Lives Unravel, Thread by Thread”

Alex Payne, an engineer and angel investor, has a really nice post about how he’s had a difficult time moving forward after his life unraveled. He had a number of revelations all at once: he didn’t like his job, he didn’t like the city he lived in, and his relationship with his wife was heading toward a divorce. The divorce was fast (“The court moves quickly when there’s no children and no disagreement over who gets what”). But perhaps the best revelation he’s had is that it’s okay if you don’t have everything figured out, and knowing that has helped him move on the most.
