Our Theme for July: ‘Wedding Season’

Cancel whatever you’re doing and read Kennedy’s beautifully written opinion on gay marriage. It’s one for the ages http://t.co/mL7GN1igDm

It’s Friday, and we’re out celebrating today’s historic ruling.

Speaking of gay marriage, it’s time to announce our theme for July: Wedding Season. Next week, we’ll be wrapping up Travel Month, and diving right into our new theme. We’ve got a story about budgeting for a honeymoon, an essay about being a good wedding guest, a personal look at finances and father-in-laws, and a behind-the-scenes look from a writer who also moonlights as a wedding singer.

We’d love to hear from you: Perhaps you’re a parent with kids getting married, or in a committed relationship and want to ditch the wedding altogether. Perhaps you’ve worked as a catering waiter, or are still paying off your credit card bill after attending your best friend’s destination wedding.

Have a story to share that fits this theme? Email us.
