McDonald’s Suggests Singing Away the Stress of Not Earning Enough Money

Low Pay Is Not Okay, the campaign to increase wages for fast food workers, previously pointed out the ridiculousness of the McBudget and the McResources hotline telling workers to sign up for welfare benefits. Today, the campaign has a video out showing other kinds of “advice” listed on the employee McResources site. These tips include:

• “Sing away stress: singing along to favorite songs can lower your blood pressure”
• “Break it up: breaking food into pieces often results in eating less and still feeling full”
• “Quit complaining: stress hormone levels rise by 15% after 10 minutes of complaining”

The “break it up” advice is especially depressing.
