Today’s to do list:
get out of bed check
brush teeth check
eat something check
make, drink coffee check
make, drink more coffee check
do requisite number of blog posts check
think about taxes check
not in a way that gets them any closer to being done, but just in general check
certainly don’t think about anything else check
or do anything otherwise productive check
leave house at some point preemptive check sure ok

This column (“column”) and its small goal of getting me to do 1 thing is a total bust for me, but maybe you’re running with it. Taxes. Appointments. Call the bank. Get renters’ insurance.
