With a Little Help From Our Friends
I met with the team at Credit.com recently (they’re just a few blocks north of us) after they sent me a note telling me how much they liked our site and wanted to figure out a way for us to work together. I don’t have a lot of bandwidth to dive deep into some of the more practical, nitty gritty details about how money works, but their editorial team does, so we decided we’d try an informal editorial partnership where they’ll let me link or post in full anything they write that I think is useful or service-y for our community here whenever I want. They benefit by getting read by our hip, young audience.
So: Here’s a nice, straightforward rundown of what lenders use to determine your credit score, and an essay from a woman discussing how her bipolar disorder affected her money.
