Susan Adams at Forbes thinks that high school students should make LinkedIn profiles because it will help them get jobs and will professionalize their online presence. She makes some compelling points, kind of. I mean, LinkedIn SEEMS like a great idea! But in the Real World: I have never felt anything positive when someone has tried to connect with me on LinkedIn and I don’t like spending any time on that site and I would never recommend anyone make an account, because, why would you invite that into your life?
