Where Are the Abortion Providers

If you are in the market to terminate a pregnancy, the Daily Beast has created a very interesting and well-done interactive map of where you can find such a service in relation to where you are, and also what kind of restrictions you will find when you get there. (Of particular interest: Mississippi’s last abortion clinic.)

Unfortunately, you cannot use the tool to find the address of the actual clinic closest to you — “exact clinic locations in this map have been obscured to be neither visible nor retrievable” — because even though you might use that information to undergo a legal (FOR NOW) medical procedure, others might use it to murder doctors and nurses. And that is the world we live in, ta da!
