In the spirit of Occupy’s 99% tumblr and Occupy the Boardroom’s letters to the banks, Strike Debt is inviting people to share their debt stories in support of the the Rolling Jubilee and their quest for debt forgiveness. Here’s an excerpt from 1 uplifting letter! (LIES)

“I have no idea where to go for advice or help. I have re-financed our home several times just to keep us afloat so we still have a large mortgage on a home we’ve lived in for over 30 years. If there is any way to be forgiven of some of these credit card debts, it would be a Godsend to us, and I could die in peace. “
