Your Pound of Change is Worth _______

Dan Kozikowski does (real) math, for fun, and in this post on his blog, he walks us through how he figured out what a pound of change should be worth. It’s interesting and not that difficult (though maybe a tiny bit difficult) to follow! A pound of change in New York should be $12, which puts The Awl Change Bowl of 2009 at like, 30 pounds.
